I found out that with Windows 7 and Office 2010 you MUST download and install the hotfix KB980861, reboot, then run the repair on the Office installation, reboot, and then Word will perform any mail merge. Do I have to create a text box and insert the picture into it? I have so much trouble with pictures every time I try to do something with it. When it hangs I can see for a few seconds the dialog box that lists my Outlook contact folders, then that goes blank, another dialog appears and tells me theres.
Unfortunately, the picture wouldn't fit to cover the whole tag. When I try to mail merge to create mailing labels either directly from Outlook 2010 or Word 2010, Word either hangs or crashes when I select Outlook Contacts to choose the recipients. Then I copied it and pasted to the rest of the name tags.
